Oxidized Polyethylene Wax Features and Advantages:

Oxidized Polyethylene Wax, known as OPE WAX is a polar PE Wax that in process of oxidation produces produced. OPE Wax mainly used to producing Emulsion PE Wax and also as a good external and internal lubricant and auxiliary agent in Plastic and PVC industry.
OPE Wax has good feature such as low viscosity, pigments and color dispersion, high softening point, high hardness, high density that makes it good lubricant and stabilizer agent for PVC and Plastic.
Polyethylene wax is a by-product of polyethylene that is refined and its volatile substances are removed, and after purification, it is combined with oxygen and turns into oxidized wax.
Oxidized PE Wax with acid number above 30 mgKOH/g produced in reactors with catalyst KMnO4 at reaction temperature 141-148 degrees Celsius, air velocity 4-8 m/s, reaction time 3-7 hours.
