Cracked PE Wax HDPE derived from cracking high-density polyethylene wax, a process that involves breaking down the long chains of the polymer into smaller molecules through the application of heat and catalysts. This process of cracking is typically carried out at high temperatures (around 400-500°C) and various types of solid acid catalysts, such as zeolites, clays, or silica-alumina.
Cracked PE Wax HDPE can result in the production of a range of low molecular weight hydrocarbons, including light olefins (such as ethylene and propylene), paraffin, and aromatics.
